Called the "Runbot", this two-legged robot was developed by researchers from Germany and Scotland and claimed to be the fastest for its size. It stands 23-cm tall and sports sensors that detect when a foot touches the ground or lunges forward. The robot's walk cycle is controlled by neuron mimicking software. Video after the break.
