We have seen the future of commercial jets, and they include this futuristic blended wing “2050” design, with enough space for up to 1,000 passengers. There would be very few windows, thanks to transparent LCDs that let you view the scenery outside via cameras or just watch films / listen to music using the in-flight entertainment system. However, instead of the traditional touchscreen display, you’ll have integrated virtual reality headsets for a fully immersive 3D experience. What’s even cooler is that the visors automatically fold away on takeoff and landing.
