That’s right, Google Voice has stepped out of beta and is now available to the public (US residents), without the need for an invite. For those who don’t already know, Google Voice is “a phone number that is tied to you, not to a device or a location — works with mobile phones, desk phones, work phones, and VoIP lines.” Click here to learn more. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made with Google Voice over the last few years, and we’re still just scratching the surface of what’s possible when you combine your regular phone service with the latest web technology.
