Honda Civic Type R Concept Unveiled at Geneva

With a 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC engine that delivers 197 hp to the front wheels, Honda's Civic Type R concept is a stunner in more ways than one. This sporty hatchback will be built exclusively at the Honda of UK manfuacturing plant in Swindon. More pics after the jump.

Lol yeh, Pikachu TypeR! I dont like it, might grow on me tho, but for now its fugly. Freaking Purgeot 206 clone. Australia wont be getting this crappy Britished built TypeR. Australia wont be getting the TypeR period.

It's brother, the Honda Civic Si is a much more stunning vehicle. To my knowledge it has the same engine, and looks loads better....and it actually has a trunk and back seats.

What have they done? why this look? DOES this new look/cover improve anything? speed? lightweight? better crash result? better handle? more wind-aerodynamics? or what? well, I never actually see the REAL THING. SO hopefully, it look better in person.

man what the #@%$ were they thinking they need 2 get there head out there @ss before they go down hill.I like the idea that it has a 2.0L motor but the design is so lame.They need 2 keep it old school.The only new concept that looks good is the crx 2008

i don't know why even to compare the civic and peugeot. Peugeot 206 rc is great car but good look is something what they have forgot. I think that people just need a time to shift on new way of design in honda. In my opinion type r looks great even better then new BMW design (don't mention mercedes - it's sh**) , but the true result will reveal on track.
