Honda's New ASIMO Commercial

Honda UK has just released a new commercial showcasing its ASIMO robot, one that doesn't have it doing a faceplant -- and again. What are your thoughts? Video after the jump.

I love HONDA for pushing themselves and investing in new and yet-to-be perfected technologies. It's a cute commercial, but they make ASIMO out to be too perfect...and a little too human. That said...where can I buy one?

I got to see Asimo a couple years ago in montreal because i was part of this robotics club. And i was in awe when i saw this robot. I felt terrible when the videos of asimo falling flat on his face came out. I think this ad is really well done. yay for not breaking apart this time.

when the robot walks in with the airplanes and stretch it's arms out...it kind of makes my eyes wet. so beautiful.

Great commercial, even though its a bit "over the top" concerning the robots abilities. but nevertheless, im still impressed by how far the robot technology has evolved these past couple of years. I still believe that even with the technology we have available now, im sure that robots can be even better if enough researchers and money is invested in the project.

I bet it would've been better if the Asimo stumbles downward while walking up the stairs and the video finishes after the employees pick up the broken plastic pieces from its face, saying something like "Honda: Still working on it."

it is very touching and weird sort of way but i think they did a good job and proboly a lot of money went into it to
