Nintendo fan "Mathysvande" created this incredible hand-drawn Wii commercial in just over 80-hours, for a contest. Here's something you may not know: "Mathysvande" is not an animator; graphic artist; etc. -- just a normal guy trying to win a Wii. Video after the jump. What are your thoughts?
Very very nice! For just a normal guy trying to win a contest, this is above and beyond what I'd expect. I sure hope he wins :)

Comercial “casero” de la Wii en Origami News | Gamma
At least it actually looks like a commercial, but I didn't find the thing all that amazing. It's almost like microsofts butterfly thing or whatever than it keeps zooming through things. Not a new consept, but I dunno, this didn't do it for me. I'm not saying it was bad, just I didn't find it all that amazing.

GREAT!
Not "perfet" in some part, but very good idea.
Simple and light as Wii play game is.
He got to win!!
Very good job

Someone mentioned that this was not so amazing- The art could be better drawn(characters), but technically from a design and animation standpoint this is spectacular. The morphs from one object to another, the zoom into the window. Just Awesome! Great job, Hope you win buddy.

think about it
hmmm lets see, with 80 hours, you could work somewhere for about $5 an hour and you'd make $400. 80 hours drawing the same crap like this would give me arthritis even. well since you've already did it, it looks awesome with the animations and morphing and coloring, you gotta win.

Well, with minimum wage being $5.15/hour, after taxes, you'd end up making about $300. And it wouldn't be as fun. Plus, anyone can *buy* a Wii... not everyone gets to win one!
