Believe it or not, Japanese researchers have invented a dream decoding system of sorts that’s capable of visualizing a person’s dream. The system was developed by Yukiyasu Kamitani, along with other Kyoto-based scientists, and utilizes a functional MRI to analyze brain activity to create an algorithm of brain data for visualizations. While the researchers report that the system is not currently very accurate, the results are nonetheless promising and the visualizations are quite remarkable.
