Nintendo DS/SP TV Tuner

This bulky analog TV tuner accessory for the DS and Game Boy Advance SP is slated for release on April 29th in Japan. Powered by a single AAA battery, it gets around 4 hours of use. With the A/V cable attachment, your DS/SP can also be used as a monitor for other gaming consoles (XBox, Playstation 2, etc.) and mobile devices. No word yet on pricing. [via GoNintendo]

no thats way too big... thats not how it looked when the internet/dmb tuner was advertised with the ds lite... honestly thats way to bulky for andy sort of practical use

why dont you just stick a 19" tv in your pocket? it would probably be more convenient

ok...why the hell is this special in anyway? didnt they like come out with the TV Tuner for GameBoy Advance like over 2 years ago? In fact I KNOW they did because I HAVE one! it did all the EXACT same stuff except it was less than half the size of this and it used more batteries....lol.

Does anyone know if the GBA tuner works with the DS? And by the wasy Jon they already have them for the PSP.

this is a great tv tuner it,s analogue tv based. also great that is has a a/v adapter builtin to hook up ennything you want,like a dvd player gameconsole,s etc,, and it does also support(unlike the gba tv tuner)the gba/nds speaker,s. unfortunely!!! nintendo has decided to shrunk down the tv tuner in size mich means that manny thing,s are removed no longer is the tv tuner compitable with the gba,sp and no longer it,s analogue based and there,s also no more a/v input.it only work,s with digital tv,it,s worsing me becouse i was waiting a long time untill it should be released but it was manny times delayed and iffen now it,s steel not released, the redesing it great for the nds lite and there,s no more battery needed so we can watch tv as long as desired and now lets hope that there will be also a pal and ntsc model
