Obelisk 2 PS3 Concept

Jaren Goh, creator of the Sony Ericsson Black Diamond, has come up with another great design. The Obelisk 2 is a Playstation 3 concept that features smooth rounded corners, metal accents, and a slot-loading Blu-ray drive.

This design is a step in the right direction. Now how do we convince Sony that the other PS3 design looks like a sandwhich maker. And what's with re-using Spiderman fonts? Can't they come up with something more original?!

that looks like something can definatly be seen next to nice home entertainment system. Rather have that over the Foreman Grill.

Except for the 'Wing' at the bottom (or side/top if you dont want to run it vertical) is stupid, and slot loading is BAD. Other then that, nice.

well i think playstation is shit anyway, so it would probly not sell well, all games consoles are shit, they make kids fat and pale because they dont go outside because of them!

Looks slick... The design of the PS3 as Sony announced it is still object to change, btw. So is the controller (thank god).

This design is basically a mac-mini on its side, with a foot grafted on, an ornage flash and a foil sticker on one corner. pish

uhmmm this is just some bored persons concept...chances are that sony isnt gonna spend more hours changing their design when PS3 has been pushed back to december at earliest...btw...Xbox copied sony...ps2 was out YEARS be4 xbox was...once again...its a concept...and no...games do not make kids fat, dumb, violent, or anything else. do ur research and stop making assumptions...geez

That has to be a detacheable drive at the side of it think of the kids taking of the drives and using them as Square frezzbies .
