Created by researchers at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center, Quasi is a highly-expressive and intelligent robot that features an innovative behavior control system. Video from Nextfest after the jump.
WoW!, i think the 1st time i have seen a convincing display, amazing. There was a UK team displaying their AI soft bot which could talk and that was no way near this. However one has to consider the fact that the questions put to this robot might be planned but if it really is what it looks like then fatastic job.

It's almostt too good to be true :)
I mean it may be possible but the answering is so fast and clear it sounds like some guys is hidden a few meter away with a mic shouting answer to this crazy little bot lol :)
Anyway if its legit then it is awsome!

Actually, there is a guy behind the screen. Saw this on the Discovery Science channel. He uses a tablet pc to control him and uses a mic to talk, there are cameras in his eyes.

[...] So you’ve seen Quasi at NextFest, now check out this in-depth feature on Carnegie Mellon’s intelligent robot, after the jump. Quasi can be either pre-scripted or autonomous.
