SAAB Unveils Aero-X Concept

If you've been waiting for a futuristic sports coupe, look no further than SAAB's Aero-X concept. Powered by a twin-turbo, 400 bhp BioPower V6 engine, this concept is all about eye candy, with a cockpit canopy (replaces doors and windscreen pillars) that gives the driver full 180-degree views. The ultralight carbon fiber chassis, lightweight powertrain, and all-wheel drive suspension help the Aero-X rocket from 0-62 mph in just 4.9 seconds (computer simulated trials).

The only problem I see with this design is that when the canopy is open, rain/snow/sleet/hail/tiny frogs would come inside the cabin. I totally agree w/cockpit design comments. I want two.

Settle the excitement, by the time it comes out it will have 15inch rims with plastic hubcaps, plastic door handles, 150 naturally asprirated HP, and still be $50k. It looks sweet, but then again most concept cars do.

[...] In case you didn’t know, I’m a car geek. I love looking at cars, especially concept cars, and insanely expensive cars that have that uber rich pretentious sheen! I like Penis Cars. SAAB, tired of everyone calling little red sports cars “Penis Cars”, has decided to take matters into their own hands and have created the Aero X. Cool features include wrap around windshield, “cock”pit canopy, and all wheel drive. My favorite feature of course is the general Penile body shape. it was a good try from saab and they were so close to get it , but i guess not on this car specialy if some one is trying to get into that car while its raining...i dont where the designer brain was when he decided to aply that moving top idea , beside that every thing looks cool also i have a Q is it ganna be automatic only if so it will suck .. and it will never be my car

SEXY! This car redefines the definition of that word. I understand that being automatic makes it available to more people but if it was a standard...oh man talk about gettin hot. I sure would ;)

excellent carossery, would be better with regular doors and stick-shift.There should also "BE",these 2 options. I.will definitely buy one.
