The Space Shuttle Discovery has successfully made the trip from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center to the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA riding atop a modified Boeing 747 jet airliner, which is also known as a Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA). Click here to view this gallery’s first image.
