According to its manufacturer, the Tinchilla "can chill a can of cola or beer 240 times faster than the average fridge, or in 60 seconds." Here's how it works:
It works with the help of a little thermal conduction. The Tinchilla will suspend the can around ice and cold water and begin spinning the can. The ice and water inside will constantly be in contact with the can during spinning

wouldnt the spinning make the can fizzy, meaning youd have to let it settle, therefore defeating the purpose of the fast cooling
2
somehow that explination does not seem to equal out to a 60second cooled beer too me.

i figure that since its spinning it rotates the warm water surrounding the can and it mixes it faster with colder water, therefore making liquid inside the can always in contact with cold water.
