(Video) A Look Back: World's Most Powerful Nuclear Weapon

Tsar Bomba is the world's "most powerful nuclear weapon ever detonated or built -- developed by the Soviet Union, the bomb of about 50 megatons was codenamed Ivan by its developers." Video after the jump.
The bomb was tested on October 30, 1961 in Novaya Zemlya, an island in the Arctic Sea. The device was scaled down from its original design of 100 megatons to reduce the resulting nuclear fallout

aaa you want that Well.... the us goverment explains how here is your tutorial ;) link good old Fas.org ;) always handy. In this same TV show they also explained how simple it is to make your own bomb from radioactive wast. the only problem is the timing mechanism for the explosives around the core of the bomb to explode. if you have a grapefruit as core material(high Grade plutonium) than you would need a basketball of C4 to start the change reaction of the bomb.
