(Video) OLPC XO Runs Super Mario Bros.

Not only can the OLPC run Doom flawlessly, it can also emulate (?) the Mario Bros. games. Previously known as the $100 laptop, the OLPC boasts a 500mhz Processor, Linux OS, 1GB Memory, and a Two-Mode Display (Color and B&W). Video after the jump. [via engadget]

The sound was laggy, but it may be because bad compression. Mario is something every kid around the globe should know, even those little starving kids in Africa. I wonder if riots will occur when they;'re gone distribute the OLPC. Idea: send a batch with Doom installed to those guerilla's. Be sure to enable multiplayer and make em all addicted. Cant kill people when your playing Doom :p
