(Video) Philips READUS Demonstration

One of our readers just sent in two videos of the Philips READUS device in-action. Just a quick refresher, the READUS is "the world’s first prototype of a functional electronic-document reader that can unroll its display to a scale larger than the device itself -- with four gray levels, the monochrome, 5-inch QVGA (320 pixels x 240 pixels) display provides paper-like viewing comfort with a high contrast ratio for reading-intensive applications, including text, graphics, and electronic maps." this should have been on the market already.. i think nowadays we need such an aparatus that will make reading ebooks in bed easier.. i always read books on my side, never laying on my back ans it is just a pain for your eyes reading from a laptop then.. wheee!!! hoeray for philips!!!
