World's Most Expensive Cars

According to Forbes, these are the world's most expensive cars. Surprisingly enough, you won't find Lamborghini, Bentley, Ferrari (where's the Enzo?) or Rolls Royce on this list. More after the jump.

I would only think of Bugatti Veyron is the most expensive car in the world. Lokk at the price man!

Its unfair to include the likes of SLR in the list and then not include probably the best ferrari the Enzo, which is by no means cheaper than either the Carrera GT or the SLR. UNFAIR!

Apperently, those veyrons can go up to 252 mph (according to bugatti)

McLaren F1, ($1,000,000); Maserati MC12, ($888,989); Ascari KZ1, ($388,394); Lamborghini Murcielago, ($319,100 -Base style, 2dr convertible AWD)???? [P.S.-Replacing the carbon fibre indicator/signal light and windscreen-wiper stalk on the Bugati, wouldn't leave you much change from $8,000!]

It actually costs VW 5 million dollars to make. They sell so few so that the loss doesn't really hurt. It was a design exercise for the design/engineering team to see what they could do without restrictions

the enzo is not available for sale. all were sold out before they were even produced. this might be a list of cars available for purchase.

This list only includes current production cars and is NOT an all-time list. The Enzo and other cars like it have been out of production so this list is very accurate.

no...the Veyron is governed at 252, and is even capable of a little more if it weren't for that governor

well .. a koenigsegg cbr was caught somewhere in texas with .. 392km/h i think.. that's at least the fastest ever.. outside a racetrack.. the Enzo was only selled to "chosen" people, they got the offer to buy one, nobody else had the chance.. well .. the list itself.. not very sophisticated ;) and the veyron is.. quite ugly ;) like an inflated Smart coupé .. if sb knows this ^^ greetings
