It says right on the box that it's .17-cal, not .30. That whole gun is about the size of a .3-cal bullet ;-)

Seems like a very small .30 more like a .17,still could do some damage.

Now that's cool, slap it on an autoturret and give it face tracking software! .50 cent would be proud. :-p

Looks like a .22 caliber replica of a .30 caliber Browning. I want one!

My guess is that it is a pre-ban Tippmann .22cal repro. Once the Brady bill hit, they had to quit making reproduction machineguns and started making paintball markers.

Yes, it can kill. Although light body armor would stop the rounds, the high rate of fire would turn the chest of an unprotected individual to hamburger. These are "toys" in the sense that many private gun owners consider their firearms "toys", but it is still a deadly weapon. I think of my custom Ruger 10/22 as a "toy" and it would not be my 1st choice for self defense, yet it certainly could kill a person.
My guess would be that this is a custom job, handmade by a very talented hobbyist. I bet he had more fun building it than he'll have shooting it.

Ex-Army Armorer
It is not a repro of a .30 cal jried. It's a repro of the M2 ("Ma Duece") .50 cal Browning machine gun. John Browning was a genius gun maker that designed damn near every machine gun and semi-auto the armed forces used for many years. Only a few designs aren't based on his work. He designed The M1911 (.45 auto), the M2, the BAR. Hell, he even turned a lever action Model 94 Winchester 30/30 into a full auto. The man was an absolute genius I tell you!

yes, it's a Tippmann. Before the 1986 machine gun ban they made miniature 22lr and 22WMR copies of browning crew served machine guns.
Tippmann does make painball stuff today.
Here is where the video came from, and a neat pic of a "pile" of tippmanns: http://www.lakesideguns.com/c3gallery/pile.html
