Police officer Gaetano Acerra from South Carolina went beyond the call of duty for 13-year-old boy Cameron Simmons. The story began when he called the police after fighting with his mom, saying he didn’t want to live with her anymore. When Acerra walked into his bedroom, there was absolutely nothing inside, so he decided to do something about it and gifted Simmons with a comfortable bed, television, desk, chair, a Wii game system that somebody originally donated to him after learning of the story.
