This 2014 Nissan R35 GT3 featured in the upcoming Neil Blomkamp-directed ‘Gran Turismo’ film, set for release on August 11, could be yours for the right price. Silverstone Auctions is expecting the vehicle to fetch between £225,000 ($288,585) – £275,000 ($352,715) and currently owned by Gran Turismo competition winner Jann Mardenborough who raced it in FIA GT as the Nissan GT Academy champion.
Power comes from twin-turbocharged 3.8L VR38DETT V6 engine making at least 543 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. This particular GTR took home 9th place at the Nurburgring 24 Hours in 2015 and an 11th position in 2016. It also competed in FIA GTs with Alex Buncombe, Stuart Moore and Autosport Award-winner, Matt Parry behind the wheel before being sold to Graham Tilley who achieved several excellent results in GT CUP.
