The 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1 is officially the automaker’s fastest production car to date after seeing several new lap records that obliterates the times of various supercars and even hypercars. These record setting laps took place at Watkins Glen, Road America, Road Atlanta, and Virginia International Raceway.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 engine making 1,064 hp and 828 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), enabling it to hit 60 mph in a mere 2.3 seconds. The lap times you see here are faster than the ones set by a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and even a McLaren Senna.
