Tsutomu Yamaguchi just might be the luckiest man in the world, as he’s one of the tiny handful of people to have survived not one but both of the American atomic bombs dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 – bringing to an end to World War II.
