Sony Pictures has just released the first trailer for 28 Years Later, a post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle. This third installment in the 28 Days Later series is set for release on June 20, 2025 in the US, a little more than 2-months after A Minecraft Movie.
Like the title indicates, the film takes place 28 years after the original zombie outbreak, and the trailer teases the island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland along the northeast coast of England. We can assume at least some scenes occur in the remote location where the Rage Virus has returned. Cillian Murphy reprises his role as Jim and stars alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Erin Kellyman, and Edvin Ryding.
