Believe it or not, back in the 1990s there was penguin named La La who used to shower, put on a backpack and waddle 329 steps to the local fish monger to buy his ration of five fish every day. He swallows a whole mackerel or two and then carries the rest home in his mini backpack. The story of La La begins in 1986 when Yukio Nishimoto discovered a penguin caught in his net with a badly injured beak and wing.
