Ubisoft has just released a new Assassin’s Creed Shadows story trailer that reveals more details about its vibrant feudal Japan setting. More specifically, the year 1579 during the Azuchi-Momoyama period, which marked the final stage of the Sengoku period, a time of intense civil war in Japan.
Some of the regions players will be able to experience include Kyoto, Kobe, Osaka, and the Iga province, with historically accurate castles such as Takeda and Fukuchiyama. Not only will you see urbanization, but also bustling ports, samurai districts, and ornate architecture, all of which can be explored. The game is set for release on March 20, 2025 in the US.

I mean, I got nothing to say about Ubisoft recent mistakes. But despite all the things happened, Assassin’s Creed has been with me since i was a kid. From the day I discovered the legendary Altair and Ezio til now this franchise still got all my love, I hope this journey will be continued and thrive,” said one fan.
