GTA 6 is still reportedly set for release in fall 2025, but that has yet to be seen. On the bright side, Revolution Team’s Grand Theft Auto Vice City Nextgen Edition remake can be downloaded now. The team initially began as a simple mod that required the original game in order to show respect to the publisher, but ever since Rockstar took down their main YouTube channel, they decided to release it as an installation-ready package.
Think of GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition as an improved version of the city, based on the Definitive Edition. All the vehicles from the Xbox version of the original game can be found here, along with the characters and pedestrians. However, there are no current plans to increase the polygon counts on these models.
