First unveiled at CES 2025, the ESR MagMouse is essentially a wireless mouse designed for portability and convenience, marketed as the world’s first magnetic rechargeable mouse. Simply put, it attaches magnetically to your laptop or tablet via a slim HaloLock base (4.8mm thick) with 3M adhesive.
With a magnetic strength of 700 grams, the base securely holds the 77-gram mouse, so you don’t have to worry about losing it when moving between workspaces—like from home to a café or meeting room. It features a stowable charging cable integrated into the mouse, eliminating the need to carry an extra cord. The 500 mAh battery fills up fast: just 1 minute of charging gives you around 4 hours of use, and a full charge in 45 minutes lasts up to 160 hours.

It works with Bluetooth 5.0 or a 2.4 GHz connection using a little plug-in dongle—so the MagMouse can be used with all sorts of devices like MacBooks, iPads, Windows laptops, and even Android or iOS tablets. You can pick from six sensitivity levels (800 to 4800 DPI), which lets you tweak how it moves to fit whatever you’re doing, like detailed design work or just surfing the web.

The mouse is set to launch on April 28, 2025, via a Kickstarter campaign. If you check the product page, you can pre-order it for $1 to lock in an $8 discount off the regular price (though the full price isn’t specified yet).
