Google says that most Android handsets released in the latter half of 2010 will the Froyo update. This update is all about speed, as the company promises “2x-5x faster thanks to a just in time compiler.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Overall, for us, the experience seemed about the same as 2.1 on the Nexus One, though there might’ve a bit more smoothness to transitions and animations.
