Antstream Arcade Xbox Launch Retro Games
Antstream Arcade is set to launch next week (July 21) on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. In addition to Bubble Bobble, the service brings over 1,300 fully playable classic retro games, complete with PlayStation and Nintendo titles, to the console.

You won’t need to install anything, as everything is streamed from the cloud. This means instant cloud save games, online high scores and even a resume play feature across multiple devices. For the first time ever on Xbox, some of these retro games have added mini-game challenges, whether it be Pac-Man avoiding collecting the dots or defeating a certain enemy. There are also tournaments and challenges where players battle to see who can get the highest score. How much does it cost? It will set you back just $29.99 annually or $79.99 for lifetime access.

Despite living in an age of incredible technology, I found it wasn’t easy enough to access the games I loved growing up and I wanted to be able to easily share scores and compete against friends. We believe in the preservation and accessibility of all games, the great, the impossible and the forgotten or lesser known too, I’m very proud to bring the Antstream Arcade platform to the Xbox community,” said Steve Cottam, CEO of Antstream.
