Yes, a group of architects want to make Minas Tirth from “The Lord of the Rings” a reality by raising $2.82 billion USD on Indiegogo. Once funded, work will begin in Northern England in 2016, and hopefully be completed by 2023 if everything goes to plan.
The architects would like to to create both residential and commercial properties, allowing for sustainable growth and a high quality of life. Residential properties would be categorized by tier, quality and size. Tiers would vary from 1-5, while quality varies from 2-5 stars, with the higher star denoting higher quality, and size varies from 1-4 bedrooms. For example, a ‘3.4.2 property’ would be located in the 3rd tier of the city, be of a 4 star quality and have 2 bedrooms.
