ASUS has just unveiled the Z84Jp, a sleek 17-inch notebook that has performance to spare. Featuring an Intel Core 2 Duo processer (up to 2.33-GHz T7600), up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, SATA HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, and a vibrant WSXGA+ display. External interfaces include four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, Bluetooth 2.0, a built-in 2.0-megapixel webcam, and a 7-in-1 memory card reader. Pricing has not yet been sent. The Z84Jp release is expected mid to late January and once Vista is released it will be an option on this notebook (Vista hits on January 31)
