
Another day, another handheld game console, and this time, it’s the Android-based AYANEO Pocket S. It’s claimed to be the first to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 gaming platform, complete with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM (12GB standard) and 1TB (256GB standard) of UFS 4.0 storage.
Other features include a 6″ IPS LCD (1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 resolution), Hall sensing joysticks, a fingerprint sensor integrated directly into the power button, VC heat plate + fan cooling, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, a microSD slot, and a 6,000mAh battery. The device measures 214 x 85 x 14mm and weighs in at 350g. You can pre-order one now for $400 USD here, with shipments beginning in June 2024.
