When the AYANEO SLIDE is released later this year, it will become the world’s first AMD Ryzen 7840U-powered handheld PC with a full-keyboard. Its 6-inch 1080p IPS screen with 400 nits peak brightness tilts upwards to reveal a hidden ergonomic QWERTY keyboard, complete with an infinite adjustment slide rail flanked by hall sensing joysticks on both sides.
The problem with most handheld PCs is heat dissipation, and that’s where the SLIDE’s new cooling system comes in, consisting of a three copper tube structure with a PC-grade high-pressure turbine fan. AYANEO hyper sound stereo dual speakers boast intelligent power amplifier technology, while two USB4 Type-C ports, an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD and high-speed SD 7.0 TF card slot offer plenty of expansion options. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but a surprise pre-order campaign is in the works.

In addition, the keyboard height has undergone repeated fine-tuning and optimization to achieve a seamless transition with the joysticks and gamepad buttons, ensuring an immersive experience without interference. At every detail that matters to the experience, AYANEO SLIDE takes thoughtful consideration and makes corresponding optimizations, providing gamers with a refreshing slide handheld experience,” said the company.
