For those who’ve never heard of Between Two Ferns, it’s basically an internet comedy series starring Zach Galifianakis that appears on Funny or Die. As the show’s title suggests, host Zach Galifianakis conducts celebrity interviews sitting with his guests between two potted ferns: the set intentionally resembles a low-budget amateur production for public-access television. In his latest episode, he interviewed President Barack Obama, all the while racking up 9.5-million video views in under 24-hours. Continue reading to see why.

Mashable reports: “Among Galifianakis’s questions: ‘What is it like to be the last black president?’ he asks. ‘Seriously? What’s it like for this to be the last time you ever talked to a president,’ Obama replies. Other topics include ‘ambassador’ Dennis Rodman, Obama’s (and Galifianakis’) birth certificate, same-sex divorce, and there’s even a semi-serious bit about the Affordable Care Act, though Galifianakis calls out Obama for plugging it.”
