Deep Robotics’ robot dog may not have five fingers like X20, but it is capable of getting into a jumping contest with its peers before heading off to the grocery store. When not doing everyday tasks, the robot can still easily navigate obstacles and unstructured surfaces, while being protected against harsh conditions like smoke, toxins, heavy rain, etc.
We can see that Deep Robotics has load operation taken care of, as the robot dog can swiftly carry supplies or equipment, but in addition to homes, it can also easily traverse disaster sites and conduct rescue operations for trapped individuals. There’s no word yet on if a commercial version will be released.
