There’s Epomaker’s LEGO-inspired Brick 87 keyboard, and then the DS Pixel Keyboard, which has removable transparent keys that effectively turns the device into a second display. Simply put, it’s touted as a ‘modern touch-screen electro-capacitive keyboard’, one that seamlessly integrates a display into the keyboard itself.
Its keys boast an ultra-short travel distance of 1.2-1.5mm, with trigger forces of 40g / 50g, and an 8K polling rate. This means that each keystroke becomes lighter, allowing every operation command to be swiftly conveyed to the system. Since the DS Pixel Keyboard features a built-in HDMI interface, it can either be used as a standalone display or a screen extension on your main computer. You can pre-order one on Kickstarter now for $349 USD, with shipments beginning in February 2025.
