Dyson 360 Vis Nav Robotic Vacuum
Priced at around $1,590 USD, the Dyson 360 Vis Nav might be the most powerful robot vacuum yet with twice the suction power of any other currently on the market. It has been engineered with unique Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technology, complete with a 360-degree vision system sporting a fish-eye hemispheric lens which remembers where it has been to create dust maps of your home.

The 360 Vis Nav’s advanced processor collects data from 26 sensors for a range of tasks, including dust detection, obstacle avoidance and wall detection, to clean right to the very edge. Featuring a full-width, triple-action brush bar for hard floors, soft nylon to pick up large debris and anti-static carbon fiber filaments to take care of fine dust. Have thick carpets? Its stiff nylon bristles are designed to dig right into those carpets, while a dual link suspension allows the machine to climb up to 21mm. After cleaning for 50 minutes, it automatically returns to its dock for recharging. Dyson is set to release the 360 Vis Nav in Australia on May 25th.

Robotic vacuum cleaners should be highly effective machines that intelligently clean your home, so you don’t have to. Enabling these autonomous cleaners relies on highly complex algorithms, visual interpretation, dust sensing capabilities and powerful motor technology. Dyson engineers have taken everything we’ve learned from developing our vacuum cleaners, combined it with intelligent software, to develop the Dyson 360 Vis Nav – the most powerful intelligent robot vacuum cleaner,” said Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer.
