Priced at a hefty $25,000 on eBay, the Pulsar P1 “was the first model LED watch ever sold to the public and was hugely expensive when new, as much as a car — 18k solid gold and fitted with the original 18k gold bracelet dated 1971.” Auction page. Click here for first picture in gallery.

It is unheard of to find one of these watches with a working first generation movement as all 400 made were recalled and most were fitted with an updated movement or melted as scrap in the late 1970s.
