Epic Games announced that fans can get a free Stormtrooper skin ahead of their Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration kicking off on May 2. Once the First Order Stormtrooper skin is in your Fortnite locker, you can use it in-game.
To get the free First Order Stormtrooper skin, you need to connect your Epic Games account (the one for Fortnite) to a MyDisney account. Start by going to epicgames[dot]com and signing in with your Epic Games account. This is the account you use to play Fortnite.

If you don’t have an Epic Games account, make one on the website and link it to your Fortnite game. Once you’re signed in, go to your account settings. You can usually find this by clicking your profile name in the top-right corner and choosing “Account.” Look for a section called “Apps and Accounts” or “Connections.” In that section, find “MyDisney” and click “Connect.”
You’ll be taken to the MyDisney website. If you already have a MyDisney account (like from using Disney+ or other Disney services), sign in with those details. If not, you can create a free MyDisney account right there—no Disney+ subscription is needed. Follow the steps on the MyDisney website to link your accounts, which usually means confirming the connection and signing in.
Once linked, the First Order Stormtrooper skin should show up in your Fortnite locker the next time you log into the game. It might take a little bit to appear, but it’s usually instant or within a few hours.
