Hyper-Sub
Built by an engineer and his friend, the Hyper-Sub is the world’s first autonomous, small submarine. It has a maximum surface speed of 40 knots and a 500-mile range. Currently, the Hyper-Sub prototype is undergoing endurance tests in hopes of a commercial release sometime in the near future.
Mini Russian Sub
What better way to escape the daily grind, than by exploring the sea with your own mini submarine? That’s exactly what this Russian engineer did. Unfortunately, it only seats one person and isn’t yet capable of deep sea exploration. The next model aims to include a larger cabin and stronger chassis.
