Overview

A Japanese engineer has managed to build a self-balancing table that’s capable of waiting tables, or at least delivering the food, and playing a tune while doing so. It’s equipped with several infrared light sensor to help maintain balance, gyroscopes, and is controlled with a remote — data is processed by remote computer. Early prototypes are wired, but in the video above, you’ll also see an untethered version.
