Overview
Developed by Japanese researchers, Free Viewpoint Television is a video system that makes use of multiple cameras to allow viewers to interactively change the viewpoint and generate dynamic scenes from any 3D position in real-time. The outputted video (MVV) is then compressed and can be viewed with any 3D-capable display.
