GuliKit Design unveiled their all-new Steam Deck dock at Gamescom 2023 and it looks like a miniature Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It’s also reportedly compatible with the ASUS ROG Ally, Nintendo Switch, and more.
Aside from these teaser images, not much information has been revealed about the docking station other than it sports the same gray and purple colors found on the SNES console, while the two switches appear to be just for show. The middle section, next to the cartridge slot, is where you slide in the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, etc. Swing around to the rear panel, and you’ll find USB-C charging, AC adapter ports, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, HDMI, as well as three USB 3.0 ports. For those interested in using this with their Nintendo Switch, you’ll need to slide it in upside down so a cable can access the proprietary charging port. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
