Nintendo Switch Steam Dock Mod
Valve’s Steam Deck is still considered the gold standard when it comes to handheld PCs, but this Nintendo Switch mod just might be the next best thing. Some may not know that the Switch is powered by the 1.0GHz NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor with ARM CPU cores and a 768MHz NVIDIA Maxwell-based GPU with 256 CUDA Cores, which means it has more than enough power to run many PC games.

Modder Geekerwan figured out a method to play these PC games and it involves first unlocking the bootloader and installing the Google Android operating system onto the Switch. He then installs the Ubuntu operating system to gain access to even more hardware features. This allowed him to overclock the CPU to 2.3GHz and GPU to 1.267GHz, while the memory system now clocks in at 2500MHz. Ubuntu lets Geekerwan access Steam software and the ability to run several modern games like God of War.
