Unlike the Takara Tomy Nemesis Prime R5, the all-new Hasbro x Robosen Megatron robot has auto-transforming technology. Voice artist Frank Welker provides the voice for Megatron, the same legend who voiced the original G1 Megatron back in 1984.
Standing 21-inches tall, this robot can walk on its two legs, similar to Robosen’s previous Transformers, and has 112 integrated LED lights as well as 118 chips inside that are paired with the 36 servo motors used for the conversion process. You also get a bevy of weapons, including Megatron’s arm canon, an Energon sword, and missiles on the tank turret. You can pre-order one now for $899 USD directly from Robosen, with shipments beginning in August 2024.
