Thanks to the Hubble Space Telescope, here’s a rare look at Saturn’s north and south poles, as it takes “almost 30 years to orbit the Sun, and during that time such a picture opportunity occurs only twice.” Video after the break.
The images show glowing aurorae flickering at each pole – Saturn’s equivalent of the Northern and Southern Lights on Earth.
