Jony Ive Linn x LoveFrom Sondek LP12-50 Turntable
Former Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive helped design the £50,000 ($65,098) Linn x LoveFrom Sondek LP12-50 turntable in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original LP12 turntable. Upgrades include precision-machined metal hinges that make the dust cover extremely responsive and a new, circular power switch machined from solid aluminum.

A new ‘Bedrok’ plinth, which acts as the base of the turntable, is machined from a single block of an incredibly dense new type of wood created by compressing layers of beech under extreme pressure. Linn’s engineers believe this mew plinth technology takes the Sondek LP12-50 to a new level of sonic performance. The Sondek LP12-50 will be limited to 250-units worldwide and available in a wood or white finish.
