The LEGO Icons Dune Atreides Royal Ornithoper (10327) set has been revealed, and it faithfully recreates the aircraft seen in the movie. Consisting of 1,369-pieces, the aircraft’s dragonfly-inspired design comes complete with functional blades capable of flapping and retracting with a 180° rotation.
Measuring 9 inches (23 cm) high, 22 inches (57 cm) long and 31 inches (79 cm) wide, the set features foldable landing gear and eight all-new LEGO Minifigures of key characters from Dune, including: Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho and Baron Harkonnen. Pre-orders start today, with the set hitting stores on February 1, 2024, priced at $164.99 USD.
