LEGO Rhythm and Bricks Genre Music
Following up on the popularity of the Green Noise ASMR playlist, LEGO decided to create an entirely new genre of music called Rhythm & Bricks. Think of it as lo-fi music consisting of the iconic sounds of LEGO bricks fused with the instrumentation and artistry of musicians like Tom Misch.

The LEGO Group discovered that 1 in 3 adults worldwide feel stressed weekly (34%), with 98% of adults all agreeing music is an important way for them to relax. Tom Misch produced an original track infused with flowing jazz guitars and beats, using familiar LEGO sounds, to headline the all-new rhythm and bricks album on Spotify. Listen to it here.

Finding ways to relax and unwind plays a big part in helping me to think creatively and keep my mind calm and focused. I took the challenge of incorporating LEGO Brick sounds as a point of inspiration to start composing the music. From there I created the drums and built guitar and vocal layers to finish the song. Hopefully it creates a nice soundtrack that relaxes builders who might feel stressed or anxious!,” said Tom Misch, globally acclaimed songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
