At 31.75mm thick and 4-pounds, the V100 manages to house a 12.1-inch WXGA display with VibrantView technology, perfect for watching your favorite DVDs. On the inside, you’ll find an Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.83-GHz) processor, 1GB of DDR2-667 memory, 100GB HDD, CD-RW/DVD combo drive, and a 1.3-megapixel camera (select models). External interfaces include three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 5-in-1 memory card reader, fingerprint sensor, and Bluetooth. Here’s the verdict:

At first glance the V100 suffers for looks and build quality compared to a genuine ThinkPad. However it does bring many ThinkPad features to a more affordable price point. I wouldn’t consider it though unless it’s paired with an extended battery as the standard one is far too weedy
